In "life IMAGED" (2006), the juxtaposition of the images from a Hollywood Western movie and footage from the artist's personal life are shown aside on a split screen. While Drama well-displays pain without the actor experiencing pain in actuality; yet, real pain felt in ordinary life does not look all-that-painful on screen. If the "Loser (Hero)" portrayed in Westerns are willingly accepted with empathy by the viewer, could also the "Loser (Heroine)" from reality, the artist herself, be accepted with such welcoming romanticism? The work involves gender issues from the juxtaposing the varying viewpoints of glorified Western movies and scenes from real life.
